Rick Jackson (Guitar)
Rick Jackson grew up in Clifton, NJ where he began his musical journey in elementary school performing as a brass player in the concert, orchestra, jazz, and marching bands. Heavily influenced by various genres of Top 40 music and vocal harmonies beginning in the 1960’s, he began learning guitar and bass and was soon playing with groups at various community events, private parties, and talent shows.
Rick has performed professionally in the NJ, NY, and PA metro areas for many years with local, regional, and national acts including Norman Fox & The Rob Roys, The Students, The Solitaires, The Cameos, The Blue Notes, Just Cruisin’, and with several oldies, party & classic rock, and country bands. He has performed in shows backing members of The Crests, The Duprees, The Belmonts, and Frankie Lymon’s Legendary Teenagers.
He has been nicknamed “Jukebox” by those he has worked with due to the huge number and variety of songs in his repertoire.
